Is 12-15% CTR on Youtube adsense a problem?

Hello, Everyone,
I have a couple of Youtube videos that I was recently approved for monetization, like about 2 weeks ago.

Together, they have gotten about a few hundred views per day and around 12% CTR so i'm making about $5 a day now.

Is that a rate that will raise a red flag?
I am new to YouTube monetization, although I've had a pathetic adsense account for about 3 years, so I don't know what's typical for YouTube CTR. I understand that typical adsense CTR is supposed to be really low, like 1% or something. I have no idea why the rate is so high, and i'm doing nothing to promote clicks.
Any insights?

I'm no wiz at this, but Google check any clicks, so unless they say something I wouldn't be too worried. If they actually found a relevant ad to show (which is rare), that may have pumped up the CTR.

I had thought about the issue of relevancy. One video is about watches and the other is about how to open the battery door of a cellphone that is known for being difficult to open.
    Thanks!

Your ok as long as your not clicking your own Ads. If your running Truview Youtube/Adsense Ads, viewing the full 30 second video Ad is considered an Ad click.

12-15% CTR on Truview Ads is normal. The reason it's so high is people watching the Youtube video don't have to do anything except let the video Ad run the full 30 seconds, they don't have to click anything, it still counts as a click.

Why worry if everything seems to be legit? 50% conversion legit click > 1% clicking your own ads.

If you find it fishy, simply contact Google.

That's a really good rate. I'm surprised you would even think it might be a problem.

i dont understand why mine has suddenly shot through the roof. yesterday i was just under 30%. today i am over 35%. i do absolutely nothing to promote clicks. can someone explain what they meant when it said it automatically counts as a click if they watch the video all the way through? i am pretty nervous that this seems incredibly high.

A higher CTR on youtube is normal. There is no much contetnt on youtube and people are clicking on ads. Somethimes they click by mistake while trying to close the add box
