How to clear browser/router "history"?

I don't know what the right word is but if I search for my kw it shows up at the same spot on all the browsers even after I have deleted history, cashe, cookies etc. Even if I try on a different computer behind the same router it shows the same rankings for a page. But if I check my ranking with a SERP tools it shows that my page is not ranked even. If I ask my friend who is behind some other router to check it then he also doesn't see my page ranking in google.

How can I delete the router or whatever history/cache/cookies to get up to date info?
#seo #browser or router #clear #history

Router can not cache anything, but proxy (like squid) server can. If you can, you can try to type IP address manually instead of sing DHCP or as athenistic wrote, log out from your google account. On the same IP you can try to use different operating software like Linux or maybe just different browser

Ever worked on Routers? Routers can keep more information regarding browsing history and other factors than a free web browser. Even latest routers can generate unique(and encrypted) identification numbers for all nods of a network using some hardware serial numbers of the devices on a network. So that a router can easily detect any PC, switch or even a small dongle even after MAC spoofing and IP changing.

If you don't have chrome installed, download and install it and use that as a sanity check for SERP results. Just don't click on anything or go to your site with that browser.

That's what I do. I use Opera for that and Firefox for everything else. I never log into my accounts with Opera.

I think it is Shift+ctrl+del to delete all the browser history.... anyway this will help to clear all faster.

Or you could just use the free ranking tracker seomoz provides. It provides results based on all the google ip servers instead of relying on self checking.

    1. Download CCleaner (free version)
    2. Close all browsers
    3. Run CCleaner
    4. Search your keyword with the Chrome Incognito browser (Don't login to anything)

If you ever get a temporary ban while searching Google SERPs too fast, do this:
    1. Close all browsers
    2. Disconnect the router (all wires)
    3. Reset the router (small red button on back of router (DSL))
    4. Run CCleaner
    5. Re-connect all wires to modem
    6. Search your keyword with the Chrome Incognito browser (Don't login to anything)

If you are just checking SERP ranking, just use a good free SERP tool that uses their own private proxies, so it will be completely independent of your browser, history, etc. like the one in my signature.
