Pictures/Photos for my Site? Free Sources?

Hey,


I'm very paranoid when it comes to copyrighted material. I've had an experience in the past where I used a photo and it was a tiresome legal process and eventually settled with a $1000 settlement to the copyrighted owner of the picture.


I wanted to use some photos for my site, which has now grown from 20 pages to 160. Are there any free sources I can get photos from?
