Strange SEO Problem...Need Help!

I just can't figure this out guys...

I used a piece of software called 'Magic Submitter' to submit spun articles to a dozen or so article directories a month or so ago, yet I have receieved almost NO backlinks from those articles...BUT...

I also did some Fiverr gigs, such as high PR backlinks and a scrapebox blast...and I am getting MUCH better results from those! Is there some inherent lack of link power in these SEO software programs? Or is it just blind luck that these Fiverr gigs are working out better than monthly software that costs $60+?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

What do you mean no backlinks? What method are you using to check this?

Tools like Magic Submitter / Senuke / AMR are extremely limited in terms of ranking sites. Years ago these tools were more effective but today they are near useless for long term ranking of competitive Keywords.

Hitting the same IP's with spam spun content just doesn't work.

You wont want to hear this either but fiverr is not the place to go for good backlinks - you may have some small initial success but it wont work for the keywords that can really make you money and it wont work long term.

I check backlinks with Market Samurai and Majestic SEO, virtually none of the Magic Submitter backlinks are registered, but ALL the Fiverr links show up fast?

Maybe you bought fiverr gigs in pyramid form or that they use others tool to get them indexed, like Linklicious, Backlinkindexer, social bookmarks etc.

I think the effectiveness of any SEO software is maximized if one is really well-versed with the functioning of each. That being said, nobody can deny the fact that most automated tools produced the best results a few years ago. However, maybe an SEO veteran can confirm this. Since I have barely been involved with usage of these tools apart from a little here and there, but have heard a lot of people saying the same about such tools.
