Squidoo Like Me - Join The Group

Most people have heard of how much traffic squidoo can pass there way but in my experience its very hard if you are new because how I see it is to move you up the squidoo ranking (not Google) you need likes and people on your Lens. So this is wear I thought of the idea of setting up a group of people were we all like each others Lens. In turn your Lens will move up the ranking.

How will this work?
Send me up to 5 Lens to my email and once we have around 50 people in I will randomly select 10-15 Lens (open to suggestions on the numbers here) and email everyone to get liking twice a week.

Can I send in more than 5 Lens?
Yes once all your first 5 have gone out and been liked I will email you once they have all gone out.

Can I join in late?
Sure just email over your Lens Max 5 and yours will be added to the list

So if you are in just email your Lens to squidoolikeme @ hotmail.co.uk (take out the spaces)

This could fail miserable or take of very well how I see it if it helps get you the magic twenty like to help get your Lens to 99% complete this will be a good thing just a waiting game then for the giant squid to like you.

    Bad idea. against the TOS. besides, you dont' need to do this. You can get visitors who will probably like your lenses (if they are likeable) if you post in squidu or the various facebook groups for squidoo lensmasters.

    Why do something that can get your lenses locked and deleted if it's not necessary to get them attention? And it can happen. All it takes is one disgruntled group member to tell HQ and you are found out.

    It's the language here that is the issue. You are not allowed to ask people to like your lenses.

      Hmmmmm. The easiest way to get squid likes is
      to squid like others. And work your way up
      the charts. People find you. Built a lens one
      week ago, it was picked for their gardening
      spotlight. Got over 124 likes in one week to
      that lens alone.

      Work hard on lenses. Squid like others at your
      level and just below. People will return the
      favor. But you had better create GOOD non
      spam lenses on good topics. I have worked my
      way up to almost level 70. I now get dozens
      of squid likes a day, and I always return the
      favor. Of course being a high level squid they
      get 25 points for my squid likes. Not the usual
      2 or 4.

      I have built a squidoo empire over the past 2
      years.

      Forget about this proposed squid like nonsense.
      Go out and start squid liking. You get points,
      badges, and squid likes in return. Each visit
      to your lens, and like, pushes it up the ranks.

      Squidoo should be on everyone's list.

      Squidoo puts noindex tags on the lenses when they fall into WIP - work in progress lenses. I have had 2 lenses fall into WIP in the last couple of months. Both got NO TRAFFIC and NO HOPE of traffic and so were useless anyway. I deleted them. I have over 100 lenses that are not in danger of falling into WIP because they get traffic.

    Like others have said, it's a bad idea. It's first of all against the Squidoo TOS. Noone who values their Squidoo account for more than some silly backlinks to their sites will ever risk their account with it. Afterall getting likes it's so easy! Just go to the forum, post your latest lenses, start liking and commenting on other lenses and the likes/comments will come alone. Why cheat on something that is easy to do anyway?
