Can google crawl facebook?

Hello,

I know this sound slike a silly question at first but it ocured to me everytime i try to bounce around facebook I am required to log in.

Do they have some form of way around this or are their robots granted access?

I am curios as everyone says facebook and twitter are the future of seo but if google cant crawl facebook ill put oit on the back burner for now.

    It crawls Facebook Apps. Obviously it won't go deeper into the app than the first page due to login restrictions, but a good targeted Facebook App often gets to page one of Google very soon after creation.

      well i was really talking more about the chatter and links, it is known that google is now paying attention to links on twitter even though they are no-follow and it is speculated they pay attention toc hatter on facebook as well.

      it is this kinda chatter and links on facebook I am talking about, i dont really know much about apps

      yes this has already come to pass, i just want to know if google can crawl facebook like they already do every other site

    google can crawl everything, unless the user says otherwise, including facebook.

      I would assume the bot hitting a log in screen would put a quick stop to it unless there is a special bot entry way
