Question on Exact Domain

hey guys, I bought a exact domain match with low competition. I then submitted it to Google. How long does it take for something like this to get ranked? I know when I made a real estate site and submitted it, it was on there ranked number #1 very quick. Although the search volume on that exact domain was close to nothing.:confused:

    Ranking and being indexed are two different things. I have had sites indexed within just a few hours, and some that took quite a few days. Whether they rank on the first page, or whatever, will be up to lots of things.

    I have a few exact match domains with content that never made it to the first page.

      ok so then the real estate site wasnt really "ranked", it was indexed? As for indexing a site how long does that take.... I am just trying to figure out where im at with this thanx!

    Have you built a site on it? If so, you can bookmark it with social bookmarks to speed up indexing. As for ranking, you need to do the onpage and offpage SEO to get ranking.

        Bookmark the site or some of your articles at social bookmarking sites like Reddit, Digg, etc. Google social bookmarks for more on social bookmarking. You could also just pay someone at Fiverr to do the social bookmarking for you. Go to Fiverr and in search box, type social bookmarking and pick one with good feedback.

    It depends on the amount of competition the keyword phrase has (and a couple other lesser important things).

    Generally if you have everything right and there is little competition it only takes a couple days.

    If it has competition then it could take a couple months or more.

    Don't just wait for it to get indexed and ranked! Work on your backlinks every day! Even with EMD's, you need to give them some proper off-page SEO. Look into direcotry backlinks...they've been golden lately!

    Expect around 3 days - if your domain names are exact. When i started my other site (randallmagwood.com), my listing was number 1 in Google in only 3 days.
