Say my site (weightlose.com) is about losing weight and I want to target another keyword, "exercises". I make a page (weightlose.com/exercises). How to I optimize my page for the new keyword(exercises)?

Can I give different meta tags and title to inner pages?

Link to your new page from older blog posts with the keyword that you want to rank for. Each time vary your keyword in anchor texts.

I'm already doing this. What should I do about on page optimization?

Find related keywords or lsi keywords and use them throughout your blog post. Make a lengthy, user friendly content and also make sure people are spending a lot of time on this particular page because the more time they spend better your site is considered in terms of quality by google. Just use a youtube video atleast 1 min in length and autoplay it when your visitor lands on this particular page so they stay longer on the page.

Rest of the on page optimization should be taken care like the meta keywords description. Title tags, h1 tag h2 tags.

Its not any different from the way you optimize your home page but this time you will need to use "Exercises" in the title tag, description, keyword tag, alt and body.
