    Here you go...

    Free Keyword Density Analyzer Tool

    I find the best density is between 2-4%.

    Have a read around the web about keyword density. There's plenty of information out there.

    Keyword density is keyword stuffing. The only thing it measures is how many times you mention your keyword in your copy.

    1% means you use your keyword once, for every 100 words.

    Both Google, SEOMoz and other sources have confirmed keyword density to be a myth, and not beneficial to rankings. If you reach 4% you are going to get a reverse effect.

    Focus on writing good copy, and strategically using your keywords instead of forcing them.

      It should be 3 to five percent and you should never ever across this percentage from 5 figure then it will be ethical and white hat technique.

      No its not.

      It's intent that defines the term.

      You'll always have a density percentage regardless.

      What the OP should be more concerned about is just writing naturally and incorporating LSI.

    Keyword density is the percentage of keywords in your article. Generally, you wanna keep it around 2-4%.

    When you're writing, just try to naturally incorporate your keyword into your sentences. Lot of wordpress plugins and keyword tools out there, that you can use to check the final density on your article.

    GOOGLE IT.

    Basically, keyword page density is a measure of the frequency of the word or phrase in the contents that appear in the web page. It is expressed as a percentage. For example, if a specific word is used 5 times on a page containing 100 words, the keyword density is 5%.

      Now you know what keyword density is, your next decision is to whether to ignore the density and concentrate on just providing quality.

      Sure.. You are going to need to mention your keyword at least once but do you need to ram it down your readers throat.

      Google has penalized the crap blog links, quality is next on the agenda.

      You decide...

    I agree with John F Kennedy, in that you should concentrate on quality content and you can also check the keyword density when you are done writing to make sure that it falls within the 2-4%.

    Here is the perfect key word density formula

    Density = ( Nkr / ( Tkn -( Nkr * ( Nwp-1 ) ) ) ) * 100

    Nkr = No of Key words repeating
    Tkn = Total no key words
    Nkr = No of Key words repeating
    Nwp = No or words in paragraph

      Ok i saw this formula here: http://www.vodahost.com/web-hosting-...-density.html/

      please correct me cause im trying to do a keyword density advanced checker online to help out the community and i really want to correct formula to use:
      using the last "correcy formula" lets say i have an article or a text of 100 words (lets put it easy so the math is faster than compared to 500 or whatever)
      if i have a:

      • Keyword phrase of 3 words which repeats 3 times through the text, if use the last formula my keyword density is: 3.19% (the keyword/phrase density sounds ok)
      • Keyword phrase of 3 words which repeats 10 times through the text, if use the last formula my keyword density is: 12.51% (the keyword/phrase density doesnt sounds that eal if im using already 30/100 and its just 12.51)
      • Keyword phrase of 3 words which repeats 20 times through the text, if use the last formula my keyword density is: 33.33% (the keyword/phrase density sound quite dodgy to be a true density, cause ill have just 40 words left and the phrase )
      • Keyword phrase of 3 words which repeats 30 times through the text, if use the last formula my keyword density is: 75.00% (the keyword/phrase density sounds non logical since i repeat everyting 30 times and i have just 10 extra keyword to use in the whole article)
      So this formula seems quite biased for me

      also here Live Keyword Analysis
      a real popular keyword density, which they also quote, if you put lets say 100 words and a 3 words phrase repeated 10 times, it displays a 20.4% density, this is simply not right

      can someone come up with which one is the real answer for keyword density on a phrase, i think i would use the one on the article before their "master formula"

      (Phrase Number of Words)*(Repetition of the phrase)/(Total Words in the article)

      any help?

      Total words of keyword in a content. Keyword density should be 4 to 5% in a webpage content.

    Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page.

    When calculating the density of a keyword phrase, the formula would be , where Nwp is the number of words in the phrase. So, for example, for a page about search engine optimization where that phrase is used four times and there are four hundred words on the page, the keyword phrase density is (4*3/400)*100 or 3 percent.

    You can use live-keyword-analysis.com to check your keyword density.

    Use this formula:

    Keyword Density = ([Keyword Count]*100)/(Total Word Count]

    Keyword Count: The keyword that you target
    Total Word Count: Total words in your article

      Hi,
      Keyword density
      is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. Many SEO experts consider the optimum keyword density to be 1 to 3 percent.

      Density = ( Nkr / ( Tkn -( Nkr * ( Nwp-1 ) ) ) ) * 100

      Density = your keyword density
      Nkr = how many times you repeated a specific key-phrase
      Nwp = number of words in your key-phrase
      Tkn = total words in the analyzed text

      Examples :

      1) Keyword Phrase - web design appears in 14 times within 430 words article content then
      NKr = 14
      Nwp= 2
      Tkn= 430

      Density = ( 14/ (430 - (14 * (2-1)))) *100 = 3.365

      2) Single Keyword - motors appears in 18 times within 430 words article content then
      NKr = 18
      Nwp= 1
      Tkn= 430

      Density = ( 18/ (430 - (18 * (1-1)))) *100 = 4.18

    Hello! Keyword density is kinda like the number of times or percentage, you mention your keyword every certain measure of words per article. Keyword density can be measured by a certain formula. But do you think there's a software for this, cause I think there is, or correct me if I'm not.
