Hi guys,

After being slapped all over by google this past 4 months and BMR going west i have lost all my sites and ranking AND income well half my income anyway.

So i`m now busy building a new army of sites all really high quality and so i`m no longer going to backlink directly to the sites pages with well lower quality backlinks but to buffer pages , web 2.0 , go-articles ect ect.. the question i have in my mind though is do the web 2.0 propertys need to be original content ?

Thanks JIm

We use mix of original and curated content on web 2.0 properties. We always try to bring value so we can increase rankings as well as get quality traffic.

Original content works best! But if you have a tight budget you can use a highly spun article that is human readable but even that does not compare to unique content on your first tier!

I personally like to use the ffg. platforms on my first tier:

    Web2.0s
    Guest Posts
    Doc Sharing Sites
    High PR Blogs
    AA article directories

Use original content. The purpose of Buffer pages is to build high authority links back to your websites. Copied/illegible content can be devalued, never indexed or deleted by web 2.0 networks (hubpages, blogger, squidoo).

Original content is pretty cheap these days, so the extra few bucks will be well spent.

When I create buffer sites and Web 2.0s

I write one long high quality article. I then spin it for each web 2.0

Then I also add images with the proper alt tags and embed a video on it as well

It doesn't really need to be original. What I usually do is I write articles for buffer pages that provide good information for real users. So I mostly write one unique article and spin it once so that I have 2 articles and I submit it to popular article directories or other web 2.0 properties.

I do that over and over again. But it takes time to see the result, to patience is required here. However, it is worth the effort.

I've been do this and it's working ok. Slow but ok. What I'm never too sure about is whether I should keep using the same blog accounts every time i make a new post (with a backlink) or if i should open a new account?

Thanks for the answers guys do any of you guys know the answer to this question,

If i have a site with 10 pages can i use the same web 2.0 property say hub pages on each page by building a new hub for each page of my site ??

Because i dont know if im correct here but each hub page i build is of course from the same root domain so if i`ve got 10 hub pages each pointing to a different page on my site i`ve still got 10 links from the same root domain are they all the same value ??

I remember reading that google only counts the first link from a domain each link after that from the same root domain has less value ??

      Hi Jim,

First of all, if you don't care about your web 2.0s ranking high in Google and you only care about boosting their SEO power, unique content is irrelevant. (at least from my perspective)

Secondly - what you heard about is probably related to OBL (or the out bound link count) of the page. Each page has a so-called "link juice" value which is split throughout each link on the page. So generally speaking, yes it would be better to have 10 hubs for 10 pages, with each hub linking only once to one page - but 3 links/page won't kill you.

And the "root domain" principle only applies if the "same backlink" appears over and over from the same root domain. So having 10 different backlinks to 10 different pages on your website from the same root domain won't diminish your backlink value.

Hi so if i have 10 hub pages all pointing to a different page on my site google will value each hub page equally and will not be giving more value to the first link it found coming from the root domain `hubpages`and less value to the following 9 pages ?
