Hello,
Ok I have about 50 sites with which to build my pyramid.

So far I have made tiers based on pr with high pr sites just below the money sites, then medium pr and the low pr sites at the bottom. Is this the way it should be?

Second,

Should the lower tiers point to every site above them or a random selection or just the one tier directly above them.

Finally,
Should each tier point only upward or should they have one way links pointing sideways as well?

thank you in advance.

In the article body put your main url and one more url from other web 2.0 where already you have created page, this way you would be building links of your backlinks and it would look natural also.

That is good advice but I have already done that. I need to know about how to link to the tiers above each successive tier on my wp domains

You usually don't just point them out "randomly" make sure the links are spread evenly through the top tier links

Ofcourse select them randomly. its kind of avoiding the footprint. its important. Google don't like footprints.

No need to do any sideways linking. Randomly link your tier 3 sites to your tier 2 sites. Two links per article. Then do the same from your tier 2 to tier 1 links. That way if sites get deleted, you don't break the pyramid.

If I am understanding you correctly, you want to know if a pyramid should point to your home page or to posts on your website. If so, then the answer depends on your preference. A pyramid can focus on one page on your site or multiple pages. I usually build pyramids that focus on one page. But I build a ton of pyramids. If you only want to rank one page then focus on that page but periodically build links to other pages on the site.

The fact is though, one pyramid is not gonna do it. You're going to have to build multiple pyramids along with other quality links.

let me clarify. I meant to say that the lower levels of my pyramid should have their outbound links on their home pages to maximize juice flow correct?

I can then use less valuable links to point at the bottom of my pyramid lie bookmars and article directories correct?

Also you mentioned building multiple pyramids, I wwas planning on using the 50 domains I have to build one should i make that 2 or 3?

If you are using your 50 domains I would say to have all 50 hosted by different ip addresses, otherwise your pyramid wont be very effective. If you knew this, sorry for the reminder. If you didn't, sorry for the downer
