How can I rank for this keyword?

Hi guys I am trying to rank for the keyword kindle touch. I submitted an article to 10 directories pointing back to my site and I dont think my site is even ranking in the first 10 pages. How much more do you guys think I would need to do to rank for this keyword? Or if it is even possible.

    Work more your seo, (10 backlinks is very little) you can add 3 backlinks everyday. Gradually you will rise

    Check how many backlinks the top 3 ranking guys have, then you'll get a rough idea of how many backlinks you'll need in order to compete with them. Also rememeber that the number of backlinks is just a single factor amongst many, for example backlinks vary greatly in strength and 1 quality backlink can get you further than thousands of crappy backlinks.

    It hink the reason you are not being indexed bij Google is not your amount of backlinks, but has got to do with your 'on page seo'.

    One thing you should do, is use the specific keyword on a page in your; title tag --> h1 --> and at least one time in your content

    I tried a while back to see if such directory backlinks have any weight - I came to a conclusion they're worthless. Submitting articles and doing guest blogging on good websites is a better idea, and that's what I'm currently focusing on.

    Forget directories my man. These backlinks are worthless. What you need is content specific backlinks from authority sites.

    You have to have a diverse link portfolio. Do some social bookmarks and high PR blog comments in addition to those article links, then create as many quality Web 2.0 properties as you can (possibly with unique content). Once you have these buffer sites, you can hit these with some lower quality links (wiki links, forum profiles, autoapprove blog comments, etc.). It might also help to grab some press release submissions from Fiverr.

      You are going good but very slow. Try to get more and more back links, quality back links on the daily basis. by forum posting, commenting, article directories would be the best source of back links.

      Don't be tempted to overdo it with a bunch of low quality links with something like SenukeX or similar software. Slow and steady.

    If you are new to SEO and want to rank your site in a quicker period, it is best to hire a SEO professional. Since only the SEO professional will know the algorithm for ranking a site in search engines.

    If you are trying to ranking by yourself, then you need to be calm and go on for all the seo techniques.

    You site approved 10 links are not enough because so many sites are there with lot of links and lot of impressions. So you have to make lot of links for your site.
    Submit your site in top article directories daily. After achieving lot of links from good sites then your site will get good improvement in site ranking.
