Keyword research help.

Most people will aim for keywords with 2000+ exact searches per month, but that means there's a sea of < 2000 a month keywords nobody else cares about. Higher CPC (see that columns dropdown on the keyword tool?) is better even if you aren't running AdSense since it's a decent indicator of the potential for monetization.

Thanks i'm going to do kwr then do an amazon wp plugin would I stil need to write articles if I get one of the plugins? I really have a hard time with keyword research and its been keeping me from blogging.

The better you know your target audience, the less trouble you'll have thinking of keywords to plug into the keyword tool to check. I don't know what an "amazon wp plugin" is.

This thread has loads of good info! The tool I use is the Google keyword tool.
Competition: Med - Low
Global searches: Less than 20k
Global searches: More than 2K

Check out Keyword Sniper Pro 2.0 from Jack Duncan. I think he also offers a free course that explains the whole process and how to do it effectively and efficiently.

I generally just stick with the adwords keyword tool. I've written a free guide that explains how I use it on my site. The most important bit if you're looking for easy rankings is my competition chapter!
