Hey Warriors,

I am currently using free x10 hosting (Prime membership) which I now see is crap.

I brought my domain at godaddy.
So just wondering if they offer wordpress installation?

Also is there a much better hosting that doesn't cost more than $15 for 3 months hosting?

Yes GoDaddy offers WordPress installation with their hosting, and they have packages as cheap as you are looking for.

I use bluehost and I love it. Cheap, great support and the best cpanel.

    Check out their website

I use Arvixe for $4 per month.

I believe they offer WP installation but it is free and easy to install WP yourself.

Please don't use GoDaddy for hosting. Trust me, you can find WAY better companies out there.

For me, Hostgator works just fine. BlueHost is an excellent option as well - having used it in the past. However, look out for some more opinions before making a final decision.

Hostgator and BlueHose and JustHost are all good and have cheaper options. You can install wordpress using any of these. I would not host with GoDaddy. Also Namecheap usually has cheaper prices for domains. IMHO

Its a good option. I don't have experience with Godaddy servers but i have heard from many users that their servers are not good and probably makes problem for you. I have experience with Hostgator and their services are excellent and most of their users are satisfied.

godaddy hosting is ok, but I hate their control panel.

Best panel is DreamHost, by far the best.

    Hostgator is ok.

Hostmonster/BlueHost are the same company, and is also ok, but more expensive than hostgator.

GoDaddy has the worst hosting panel of any provider I have ever worked with.

I have tried webhosts are Bluehost, Justhost and Hostgator and found all of them great. They all offer discounted and cheaper packages for 1st year, after that they charge you normally.

So far I am considering VopaHost or HawkHost....

I don't have the money for paying for 3 years with hostgator and besides I saw some negatives reviews on that hosting. As for bluehost the price is out of my range for now.

Even though one of the companies you mentioned considering is us, HawkHost is a great company as well.

On the other hand, I don't think HawkHost offers strictly "monthly" payments. I believe it's in intervals.

Since they are a HostGator reseller, might as well go straight to HG.

(OP, not trying to start a war here, but wanted to make you aware of that)

No they are not. Scott owns his own server.... I'm not sure why you would say such garbage. HostGator is by far the worst hosting you can buy.

I would say such "garbage" because that's where the site is at...HostGator. You say HostGator is by far the worst hosting you can buy, yet this is where your friend/acquaintance is hosting. My mistake, HostGator VPS/Dedicated server.

If you are looking for cheap hosting, then you can check NameCheap.com. Their plan starts with 2.95/month. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds great.

      Hostgator every day.

      Godaddy is problematic!

I purchase domains from godaddy but have had some bad experiences hosting with them. The support alone at hostgator is worth the monthly fee.

It's easier than you think hosting a domain on another hosting service, as is installing wordpress. You gotta do it some time and like I said the hostgator support will get you through it.

      Good luck

godaddy sucks. As stated, their CP is horrible. And their customer service, unacceptable. First first (and last) experience with them was taking SEVEN DAYS to get a WP site hosted.

hostgator is great. I was having problems with subdomains, went to a chat on a Sunday and resolved my issue in less than 30 minutes.

Godaddy is NOT a host, they are a domain name reseller.
Go to a REAL HOSTING COMPANY

would you think an Italian restaurant makes better italian food? or Furrs cafeteria?

Never host with your domain seller
    My host recommendations
    bluehost
    hostgator
    cyberwurx

    all have great reputation.
Godaddy has sucky reputation and they are NOT a host

the ones on my list ARE HOSTING COMPANIES, THEY DO IT AND DO IT WELL AND THATS THEIR ONLY BUSINESS, so they protect their reputation and service their customers well

I started off using godaddy for both hosting and domain registration, then just domain registration, now nada... Their "proprietary" software is noisy and terrible. Functions that you'll often use will be stuck up in some corner that are hard to find, and you'll have to jump through three menus to get to some obvious options.

I do have to say that the technical support were always great though and very kind.

I'd chime in with Hostgator though, as a safe option.

I am with Hostgator at present and have had no problems as of yet. I believe Godaddy just implemented their hosting program within the last year or so if I am not mistaken.
