Question about Partial use of Hyphens in Domain

I know there are many who oppose the use of hyphens period.

That said, I am wondering what would be preferable between the following sample domain names.

iscakefat-free
is-cake-fat-free
iscakefatfreefood

I am guessing that it won't make much difference search engine wise. I personally prefer the one that is fully hyphenated.

Would appreciate any feedback.

How about iscakefatfreeblog.com. There's quite a few other words you can substitute "blog" for.

Works just as well and you have a brandable domain name that doesn't share bad company with the thousands of spammers out there who through together crap content, awful themes and long hyphenated domains.

Yes, but aren't I better of with an exact keyword phrase match in the domain? Won't adding 'blog' to the domain hurt this?

Why are hyphenated domains associated with "spammers"?

I'm certainly planning on building quality niche sites with good content.

Domain names with short and keyword in it without hyphen will be best for optimizing and getting ranked in search engines. Now it is content plays an important role in ranking in search engine result page.

Unlike some others on the forum, I have absolutely no problem with hyphens in a domain name. I have, unfortunately, noticed that doing things like iscakefatfreeblog can actually get you ranked first for "is cake fat free blog". Yep, it's happened to me, but never when I've done things like is-cakefatfree.com or any hyphenated variant. I too like the fully hyphenated name, but if the .com is not available, the other variant would be just fine too.

Hyphens act as good keyword separator... but algorithms are getting very advance and use of hyphens won’t do wonders for your keyword ranking. So, to me, it really does not matter whether my domain has keyword separator or not.

The best are the ones without hypehns, but I would prefer domains that are partially hyphenated than addng prefix.

I have a fairly large website thats currently climbed to 2 and 5 in google with 2 different keywords, and it has 2 hyphens in it. I didn't know people frowned upon them when I bought the domain with hyphens, don't know if it slowed down my SERP rise but I think if I had to go back and do it again I would have just bought a normal domain.
