Adsense Technical help.

I'm having some technical difficulties with Wordrpess and adsense. My theme has a sidebar where there is supposed to be an RSS feed subscription button Directly under that should be a 160x600 Adsense ad. When I am on the home page I get nothing in that space. I know it was working because I posted a blog entry last night and it was there on the homepage working just fine. Today whenever I go to my homepage, the adsense unit does not show up. It is just blank. However, if I click on the permalink and go there, the ad shows up fine in the same area where it is supposed to be showing on the main page.

Conversely, on the home page I have 468x15 context link ads that show up on the main home page underneath posts, but whenever I go to the permalink on some ads the only thing that shows up where the context ad should be is a small little View Ads About, with a search box next to it.

This only happens on some of my permalinks though. There doesn't seem to be rhyme nor reason to it. At first I thought the post was too short, so to test I took two posts, merged them together and attempted to post again. Same result.

I've been fooling around with this for the better part of 2 hours now and am getting a bit miffed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's hard to tell exactly what's happening without looking at the site itself. If you don't have it already, I recommend the Free AdSense Manager Plug-in. After activating the plugin, you just insert your AdSense code and drop it in the Sidebar.

Man, I don't know. I looked at the source code and they looked identical. I've never had this problem before. If it were me, I would try deactivating the plugin and reactivating it to see if that made a difference. I might even go as far as removing the plugin completely and reinstalling it.

How many other adsense ads are on the main page? More than three and the others won't show.

This happens either when Google can't figure out the keywords or there are not enough ad links to show for the keywords they have determined.
