Cheap Clicks on Adwords - Are they still Possible?

Obviously, I know that if you know how to get cheap clicks on Adwords then you certainly aren't going to be giving up any of those secrets.

My question is this: Can you still get them?

A few years back, it was pretty easy to get 1¢ clicks but now?

      Where would 1 cent clicks come from?

      Doesn't seem to make sense, since the Adsense users need to get paid, and that the most expensive clicks come straight from Google search results.

      1 cent clicks would be awesome though.

    Yes it is entirely possible still today. There are some tricks admittedly, but not really. You just need to find the right networks and the right keywords to target. You may not get as many clicks or as targeted when doing this, but you can get the clicks much cheaper.

    I dont personally get 1c clicks, I pay considerably more per click due to the words I target. But I do have a few crappy adsense sites which collect a number of clicks that earn less then 6c

    People that perform arbitrage on websites do it everyday. Yes it is definitely possible. I'm not saying 1 cent clicks, but under 10 cent happens everyday. They drive run their ads on your website for pennies, then send them to their MFA sites and make dollars.

    I get 1 cent clicks on all my campaigns. The key is relevance. Page title, page url, page header tags, and content should be around the keyword you bid on.

    There are no secrets. I have found my landing pages that don't have links pointing out of my sites and complying with the relevance aspects mentioned above get clicks at 1 cent bid.

    The adwords interface will show that the keyword first page bid is higher, but I just bid 1 cent and let the ad run. After 2-3 days, I start getting clicks on these keywords.

        My pages are article pages with adsense on them. I do adwords/adsense arbitrage.

    Sure you can get one cent clicks. Just bid one or two cents. Will you get as much traffic, make as many sales and revenues than if you paid the market rate? No.

      Am I missing something?

      I was using keywords like buy laptops and computers.

      I've tried low bids on the display network targeting US only I wasn't getting and clicks or impresions on 0.20 per click. I even raised it to 0.50 and still wasn't getting anything.

        We recently took an client's Avg. CPCs from around $.02 to $.011...it's still possible, but you have to plan that traffic will not be very targeted and you'll need to use THOUSANDS of keywords to get any significant volume at that price.
