Hello all.

I have posted a few times about my blog site. I'm currently revamping it. I'm getting to the point where I'm planning out how to include my videos on the site. I'm thinking of just using youtube and embedding the videos on my site. I would then apply to be a "youtube partner" and get compensated from the ads they place on my video according to how many views I get. Or I could just host the videos myself using something like livestream or brightcove. Both of which let me add whatever ad network I want to use. I could also use preroll and midroll ads in the videos. Figuring my videos get to the point where I'm getting a lot of views....which do you all think would garner more money? Youtube partnership...or Ad network????

It all depends on what CPC you get from either network and how much traffic you bring in. You should split test and see which one works better for you. Just so you know YouTube requires you to have a consistent audience and a steady amount of views before they accept you as a partner. Although they recently announced that they are allowing more people to be able to monetize their videos without being a partner. (what I have)
