Get Social - Woorank told me

I did a Woorank report on a blogsite and the upshot was

"number 1 priority, start social media activity"

as a middle aged, British health professional I am not of the social media generation. I don't do Facebook and Twitter. I don't share my personal life with the world... I share my 30+ years of knowledge and experience in my subject

can anyone suggest some training or give me a potted version of what I should be doing? Whole idea makes my skin crawl but I better do it

    Why are you taking what Woorank says so seriously? It should only be used to get a broad overview of your site.

    But if you really wanted to get started, open a facebook and twitter account for your website, and update them regularly.

    was talking about fanpages, shares, likes and followers and that my SERPS was being hurt by not having any of that

    I didn't even know that affected SERPS to be honest

    its ok for people that have grown up with this stuff, it comes naturally but not for guys like me
