Why are you looking for an seo person for a hundred sites or so? That's a big order. I would think that you would have at least some sort of staff in place.

Is there a reason that these sites need an seo expert to jump in at such a late stage. Most seo's get involved during the developement of the site. And you already have a hundred of them?

Hire google themselves.

Other than that, you may want to find performance or result base SEO..

Since you are concern of the results.

But you need to be realistic too.

No one can assure you #1 unless they are google themselves.

If you want to be number 1 no matter what, and have a big budget since its for 100 sites.

Go buy media. Buy ppc.

As long as you have the money, your ad will show on number 1.

SEO, no guarantee #1.

even my performance base seo service doesnt guarantee you number 1.
all i do is charge extra if you do reach number 1. thats all.

If anybody guarantees you rank 1 spots then you can not trust them. If they truly are an expert then they understand that no guarantees can be made.

Also, are you looking only for an individual, or have you considered an SEO agency?

LOL. Thats the other thing. When someone says they have a hundred sites they want to rank I don't even bother. Almost no one with a decent budget for SEO is concentrating on one hundred sites at the same time. the machine gun approach to site development doesn't make many people much money. All my best customers have less than 5 sites dealing with at any time.

Lol yeah, and he mentions "major" sites, sounds like it would be large sites. I can think of people who need to rank a ton of sites at the same time, myself for example, I just bought 30 complete websites for my private network and I want to build the PR and rank them all myself for the emd keywords, then the plan is to rent out 10 homepage links per site so that they make money in 2 ways, through Adsense/Amazon and the links. I hope it will be cheaper then buying PR3 domains for $100 a pop. Let's see...

All depends. If the SEO gets to pick the keywords its doable and yes you CAN make some guarantees to that. Wouldn't be a cheap SEO that does that though.

With 100 sites and you wanting them all Number 1 in google you must have a lot of money.

Most SEO people including ourselves don't quote number 1 on page one. We can get most people to page with. Most to top 5. A lot to number one, But the internet and google changes everyday.

If you did have all your sites at number 1 one day the next you might be gone from the 1st page altogether . With 100 sites you'd need a team of SEO people working full time.

But even at that you might not get them all even into the top 3.

Count me in.

If they pay me $1000 per month for that kw i wouldnt take it either.
Because its just a matter of time when i have to give a refund.
So i end up wasting resources.

I GIVE UP TOO..

ps. that is why there is still a good market for this people who think #1 can be guaranteed. so more and more scams target this market. And then when it doesnt work out, they come to forums like this to whine and cry about how they lost money. But if you rewind back, its their illogical, radical belief that cost them their precious buck in the 1st place.

Fiverr is a Great place to find Seo expert, but one side note, is to check their rating before you hire any one. The feedbacks are good indicators whether you should hire that person or not.

I know there are people who can guarantee top 3 but not top 1. Being top 1 is not easy specially if you have more competition. If you have no competition, then being 1 will be easier. It all depends on your niche and keywords.

However, If you are on top 3 and if you have attractive META DESCRIPTION and TITLE which Google displays on its search results, you can get more clicks even if you are at 3.

Overall, it all depends. However, It is not easy to find professional SEO Guys, everyone says that they are professionals, but hard to find, it takes time. However, with some of my friends' recommendations, I found someone, they helped me a lot in SEO - I would say they are real professionals....

In the forums like WF, you can have a look in the postings there will be a signature that releated to seo services, seo company etc. observe such users postings and the quality in their postings. If you have got some good person with quality postings do contact him and make a deal with them.

First of all, no one can guarantee you top rankings. Do some research and make a list of SEO companies. Check their page rank and take a look at their websites. Contact them and ask what SEO strategies they use, in what way do they monitor results, and what's included in a standard SEO package (eg: web design, link building, copywriting, etc). Ask about their current customers and try to find out more about their success rate.
