Does server location affect my SEO?

Hello warriors

I guess this is a weird question for your ears, but I'm asking becouse in my country the goverment put some limitations to the use of credit cards in US$ currency. So I'm planing to buy domains and hosting in my country to pay in my currency. But, the thing is that of course I want to market the US country. Do you think that the fact that those servers are in my country affect my SEO? And what I mean is, for example, could I rank in the same position for the search engines with the same pages but other servers?

    Maybe - not sure. But what you should do is get several websites in different contries and link them together.

      Actually that is the main issue, to get several websites in different countries I'd be charged in a different currency that are not my country's. I would like to save the little I can spend to use in adwords or other form of advertising.
