Suspicious Amount of Adsense Clicks

I recently started my quest in being an IM. And in the last few weeks, I been averaging 3 clicks a day, but today I received 9 clicks within two hours. Would you consider this suspicious? And if you do, what would you do?

    With such a short time period and with relatively low numbers it is tough to determine if Google would look at this as suspicious or not. If I were to guess I would say no, but my guess means nothing. Google is in charge here!

    If your traffic stats increased proportionally then I wouldn't be suspicious. If not, I would wonder.

    You're talking about a very small number. Hard to tell. Sometimes I find a page with relevant ads and click multiple ads.

    You may even find that some clicks were invalid due to certain circumstances and you won't be paid but those numbers are too small to say if anything is suspicious.

    Depending on your traffic - 3 versus 9 may well be just noise. It can also be one person clicking a few times, going back to something they liked. I urge extreme caution in reading too much into small numbers.

    Well.. From 3 to 9 it could be dangerous (everything more than 250% of your normal number of clicks could result in a banning of your account!) ... The only thing you can do is to increase the number of unique visitors today with at least 50-70% of your normal stats (if you can!)

    Install statcounter on your sites. Then you can see where the visitors come from, what they do on your site, and if and where they click on ads.

    With this you can easily see if this is legit traffic or not.
