    If you mean on Google image search then it is of course easier to rank images than text.

    Google love a variety of content. The do look at the alt text of images but don't keyword stuff them. Make sure the alt text matches what the image is.

    It is generally easier to rank both videos and pictures than it is text. Which is a good thing since then it gives you more opportunities to have more pages ranked.
