Google Panda 3.4 - Nofollow Links Value?

Hello, I had one question in my mind after the 3.4 Update from Google

I wanted to know dose anyone has any idea, as of how Google will treat Nofollow links. Many research say that Google passes Nofollow Links value.

Is it true, dose anyone have any brief or url where i can get proper idea on this ?

I guess, nofollow links are not a complete waste as suggested by many.

Regardless of whether "nofollow" links are of value, you'll need them for a natural linking profile. My experience is that "dofollow"-only link profile is hardly rank as good as both of them combined.

Hope that helps!

No follow links are still valuable for a number of reasons. They create a diverse backlink
profile. But more importantly, I still have adsense sites that are ranking exclusively from no follow links. Now tell me, would you rather have a PR 5 no follow link or a PR 1 do follow link? The answer is obvious. No-follow links still carry power.

yep, the changes never end! I do mix in nofollows to keep sites looking natural. I would look up the SEOmoz ranking factors, i forget what percentage is ideal but you do want a certain amount.

Do follow links help you to improve the page rank while no follow help you to increase good rank for your specific keywords.

I find this an interesting comparison. I always have used nofollow links just to throw them into the mix for "natural" looks but I have never measured or conducted any tests on the nofollow actually passing any link juice. So, if you are saying that this is the fact, do you have any data to substantiate this?

I would really like to know this. It certainly would change my link building strategies. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure nofollow links pass on domain/page authority and that gives your site ranking power.

If that is so, how much of it do they pass? I am not disputing that they do but I really would like to see some split test results in terms of affect of dofollow vs. nofollow link building campaigns. As of now I only see general statements like "it helps" but the only thing I am certain of is that nofollow links help to keep one out of trouble from being labeled by Google as self-backlink builder.

Yes, Google not passing link value from any no-follow links besides some exceptions. But get link from any no-follow link in not waste, you will get full traffic etc.

No follow links are a must. If you don't have them you could risk the unnatural links penalty.

Ahhaha what a troll!!

Dunnow about the latest Google Panda update, but I think that nofollow links have always been very important. One of the many reasons is that building only dofollow links looks somehow unnatural.

Thank you,
