Hi all
I like the idea of bing or at least of competition against Google
I used their advertising platform before for a UK site I had but had little to no luck with it
I know they have a bigger market share in the US so tried a campaign there
Just set it up yesterday and it is promoting a squeeze page
So far I have had over 1,000 impressions 18 clicks and 1 sign up

Not great but better than the UK campaign

I only have 22 keywords listed about to ad more

Its been less than 24 hours and i see potential
I have to get a bit better use to bings display area and get all the stats on what kw or been clicked and the like

I have no proper sales funnel set up yet but will do if I get more traffic

Let us all know how it goes.

Your right, most of their inventory is in the US so your best bet is targeting US traffic.

Bing can be a good intro for people looking to try out PPC as they are more forgiving than google but there is still volume and quality traffic.

I believe Bing/Yahoo's share in the US in about 30% which isnt bad
Google has 66% in the US

I would like to know who is using bing as in which demography

I have added more keywords so see how it goes

I hope you have a full website behind that squeeze page or else Adcenter might penalize your quality score or worse ...

Regarding the stats above, on bing and yahoo platforms it's not unusual to have sales from 18 clicks, of course my niches might be different and 18 clicks are not statistically meaningful. I'll be back to see how it is going.

Try exact match for waaaay cheaper clicks. Less clicks though.

Due with the low traffic I went with broad click
I mainly deal with CPA and aim for a sign up rate of 10% I hope to reach this

    Hey
    Update day 2
    Impressions: 11737
    Clicks: 34
    CTR: 0.3%

Converions: 4 total so about 11% rate

Happy enough with conversions would like 20%

I havent started moneterising anything yet just wanted to test traffic flow
I am in a competitive niche and biding low so that explains low CTR

I will do more tests and see how it goes.
