CPC, email ads, banners?? I need input!

I have been doing IM for quite some time. I am looking for good ROI advertising in niche areas e.g. banner ads, email ads, text ads, etc. What have you done and what has worked for you? No - not the usual routes like Adwords, FB, Bing, etc - something different. There are lots of small niche websites out there and they ALL offer advertising, but what have you used that gave you a good ROI? It would be for a 100% free to join membership website. Your assist would be appreciated.

    If I'm understanding the question correctly, your asking how to get traffic in smaller niches?

    SEO with article marketing is always a classic method and joint venturing wouldn't let you down.

    But I thinking your wanting something different that all that...?

    Have you considered integration marketing?

    Basically you find people who are building a list and you do a joint venture with them, by placing your banner ad on their download/thank you pages. (And theirs on your download/thank you page)

    That way, when they get a new lead, you have a chance of getting that lead as well.

    My best ROI was from FB, second tier cpc has not been good for my business in terms of ROI. Besides they give very low quality of traffic that only works with email and zip submit. They rarely worked with building my list or selling my products.

    if you mean by other sites that offer free text ad advertising and solo emails like safelists those that worked for me 5 years ago are gone and never been replaced with any good ones. They only worked in the biz op and IM niches.

    personally for me the best traffic i get is from solo ads

    theres a saying "dont fix it if its not broken"

    i get good conversions and its easy to set up each campaign

    theres lots of other ways to generate traffic but this is what works for me and its very profitable

    and theres more than enough traffic to last years

    Solo ads and banner buys is how I generate most of my targeted traffic.
    I sometimes mess with Facebook when I do cpa stuff.
