How Google could fix negative SEO

All they would have to do is provide an option in Webmaster tools where you could manually enter all back links that you've generated for your site, and ignore any others ones found that maybe harmful. And for those who don't use Webmaster tools, this would give them motivation to do so. Because as of right now the concept of "negative seo" and Google's mentality that they're going to punish webmasters for things that are out of their control, really doesn't make any logical sense, at all. Google has some of the most intelligent people in the world working for them, I know they understand this.

    Not a bad idea...

If google is smart enough to identify "spammy" and "unnatural" links, then it should be smart enough to ignore them. By ignoring them, any site with "spammy" and "unnatural" links won't get rewarded for having them and those who perform negative SEO will be out of business.

It takes too much time. I sometimes check webmaster tools. But not daily basis. but yeah if anyone can do this from the very beginning then it will be really useful.

manually entering the backlinks you've created goes against their guidelines that basically state that you shouldn't create backlinks to improve rankings...

    would never happen.
