Avoiding negative SEO impact for site conversion

I'm converting a static HTML site to a new site that will be in WordPress. I will be using the same domain name. I currently have very good SEO for specific keywords, however, I have concerns about any negative SEO impact once the new site goes live.

Most of the pages with good SEO will have the same page content, however, some URL paths will change somewhat.

What is your advice to minimize any negative SEO impact once the new site goes live?

Also, is it advisable to keep the same URL path where possible?

    1) Have same content in pages that have high impact.
    2) As far as possible have the same URL structure. If this is not possible, add a redirect from old URL to new URL.
    3) If your site is huge with tons of page, do these changes in phases.
