Someone needs to make a site to protest google Get people on board to disable their adwords ads and take their adsense ads off their sites! It doesn't have to be permanent, but schedule a day a couple weeks from now.

With enough 'little people' maybe google will listen?!?!

If people aren't advertising through adwords and not posting ads through adsense, google gets hit on both ends of their earnings. Granted it would take a lot of us to make a difference, but you have to start somewhere.

Most people who are using backlinking strategies that violate Google's guidelines would want to keep a low profile. Here, Google, look at me protesting!! Don't think so. Also, it might be a wee bit hard to get the general public fired up -- they actually LIKE quality sites with lots of content, instead of sites which have employed, um, dubious means to get ranked.

Wow, love how everyone assumes people have crap sites that dropped. My sites are all php, jquery, mysql sites with all original code. One of my sites averages 2500 unique visitors a day with 40 minute average on-site per user PER DAY and a bounce rate of 8%.

Please don't assume everyone here is pumping out spammy long tail keyword blog sites, because some of us aren't.
