Hey guys,

If you lost your rankings in Google over this update, you can apparently buy text links from Mr. Matt Cutts himself.

At least, his site is now ranking in the top 10 for the keywords.

Big Fat Failure, Google.

I tried asking him. I commented on the post, it is awaiting moderation at the moment.

I was just looking to buy some text links to down my competitor and came across your site on page 1. What links are you offering? I also tried searching ‘make money online’ and came across sites with no content. They could use your links also.

hmm what is wierd is I have a friend who had a profile gig done and he said one of them was a google profile with a link to his site. The link was a dofollow and the google profile page had a pr of 8!

Does this equate to an easy way to get a pr8 backlink I wonder

    Hey Jon,

A bit confused here, do you think "Best Spinner" has now become redundant?

Ha. Obviously the site has a ridiculous amount of power so it can rank for nearly anything. Funny coincidence.

What I mean't was "buy text links" is a commercial keyword. People are obviously looking to perform an action such as buying text links, can they buy text links from Mr Matt Cutts? no..

Do they want to be looking at his ugly mug while buying their juicy splog links? probably not..

Maybe he just work up one morning and said, "right I'm going on a crusade to convert to evil spam dooers of the web world into Google fearing wimps".. and then follows the drivel of how he created the perfect optimized page and got 450 high quality (natural) texts links from his buddies over at Seomoz and just managed to land himself on the 1st page of Google for the keyterm "buy text links", all in a days work I say!! YAY!

This is why you shouldn't count on google for everything. They are only one traffic source of many. Yes they are huge, but why let them control your business and your traffic? I say, forget about google and find your traffic elsewhere.

Yes sir! I started to realize this a while ago. Shifting my business around google was starting to get a tad bit crazy from me.

I rather something I can control.
