So is the Easy WP SEO and its like outdated now?

I just recently purchased the Easy WP SEO plugin and today was the first day that I actually got around to using it. I noticed that it encourages you to strive for 2.0-5.5% keyword density as well as bold the keyword, underline it, and put it in italics, drop the keyword in an image alt attribute and more. Working the keyword once into both an H2 and H3 tag is also promoted.

Will these suggestions actually hurt your site after this new update?

I guessI can see how some of them (like linking out to an authority site with your keyword) would probably help in light of recent developments, but what about all this put together? Is it still good SEO?

    The plug-in can still help for sure, but using ALL of those suggestions could possibly be considered "Over Optimization" which is now a red flag..

    Its going to be a while be for someone can answer your question certainly, and by then Google will probably make another change... :rolleyes:
