Direct Linking Strategy?
- SEO |
I found a keyword that has HIGH competition, but get's over 25,000 exact searches a month. Google insights tells me 75-80% of these searches come from 1 or 2 countries.
I found a clickbank product that I feel would serve this keyword well and it's proven to do so by the thousands of downloads it already has.
The sites that rank for this keyword are long established and have tens of thousands of backlinks on their own, so building a site and competing with them is pretty much out of the question.
How smart would it be to instead set up an Adwords campaign, targeting those specific countries, spending enough per day to make sure I'm the first or second ad that pops up, and directly linking my ad to the sales page for this high converting affiliate?
If this worked, I think it would be a good strategy. First, it's quick and easy to set up. It could take as little as 10 or 15 mins. And it's cost effective, because according to traffic estimator, I should only need to spend about $10 a day to get the first ad ranking and get anywhere from 35 to 50 clicks a day.
