        True- sad fact is the majority of people who do "SEO" or design sites have never even read Google's webmaster guidelines.

      I just wanted to comment on this, those are 10+ years old "tips" about not to use keyword stuffing, cloaking, viruses etc....he just copy/pasted the most obvious webmaster "donts" and states those are tips how to beat penguin.

    Of course, even if you follow all the tips Google may still penalize you. Many sites that follow thier guidelines are still penalized. A good analogy is tuna fishing. Google uses thier algorithim like a huge net to catch bad sites (tuna). When they catch tuna they also catch good sites (dolphins). If you are a dolphin caught in the tuna net it doesn't matter how much you struggle. If you have ever been penalized by Google or outright had your account canceled for "violations". You know it is almost impossible to get Google to reinstate your account or "un-penalize" your site.

      Absolutely agreed with you. Really still don't understand what Google Wants from us. Matt Cutts only wants us to creat websites and bulk stuff, he making us fool. Really disappointed from Google.
