Hello,

1,5 months ago I made clickbank affiliate site. It was climbing nice in the SERPS and I managed to get it on the #6th position for VERY profitable keyword. This site made me everyday $20-$40 profit, however it was only 6 days in the 6th position and the on the 4th of April it disappeared completely.. Sub-pages still rank for some keywords, homepage is still INDEXED, but cannot be found on the top 1000 results.. I have added new backlinks, updated content, updated homepage content etc, but nothing seem to help..

- It didn't disappeared because of the new algo, because it was already gone before it.
- My first affiliate site did the same thing, was climbing.. then BOOM..GONE! But it came back just after 6 weeks.

Now, what would you do in this situation? I know if I can get this site back to #1st page or even TOP 3, then I could easily make 1000$ per month, just from this site.

Now.. Should I wait more?? Test more? Or just go and create new site? Because I know I could rank this "new" site into top 10 just in 2 weeks, but it MIGHT disappear again...

I'm curious how many pages does your site have?

How many keywords are you targeting?

What backlinking method would you use to get it to rank in just 2 weeks?

Well it had about 8 pages, now it has ~20 (every page around 300-700 words)

I was targeting 1 MAIN keyword and 2-3 keywords which were quite similar

      1. Keep building quality backlinks
      2. Keep updating and adding new content

      or

      3. Buy a new domain and redirect your existing domain to the new one.

you'd already mentioned your first site experience, so i suggest you to continue building backlinks from your niche sites.

It sounds like the Google dance. I made two affiliate sites in December, they were ranking well for their primary keywords on page 1 and 2 in the SERPs and making decent money, but then around early April they were no where to be seen for their primary keyword, only some sub-pages keywords. But then after the Penguin update they've returned to the position they were before.

Id say you should wait more and carry on steady manually backlinking, but also build more sites in the meantime to get that bank account beefed up.
