Hey!

Hope you're all doing all right!

Just a quick question... I'm searching for keywords for a marketing campaign I'm putting up and I'm trying to understand the results given by Google Keyword Tool for some keyword phrases. My question is:

When Google gives a Monthly Search Volume : Not Enough Data and the Average Monthly Search Volume is 5400 should I consider that keyword as a good one? Does it mean that there's maybe trends through out the year and last month is low compare to other period in the year? (5400 is maybe not a lot but I'm searching for a really precise small niche...)

As you can see, I'm obviously new to this IM world. Anybody's help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

You can see the Trends. Click "Show/Hide Columns", then choose "Show Volume Trends"
Also, bidding on it doesn't hurt your CTR.

    Thanks for your help KirkMcD

Unfortunately, it seems like the trends says No Data for the keyword phrases that shows Not Enough Data in the last month Search Volume... Do you know why it's not showing the Trends? Is there a way to see these Trends?

Still a cool feature that's nice to know for the other keywords results that shows volume in both colums.

    Thanks again

Many times, the Google tool can be way off (it's still great though).

Setting up a new campaign (even a quick one without many bells and whistles) will give you access to "The Matrix." It will tell you what the volume for your terms really is.

I just learned yesterday from Niche Profit Classroom 2.0 a really nice and easy way to find targeted keywords... and man there's more that I though! I'm really amazed. I have a retail ecommerce and I'm trying to bring traffic to my site by setting up a PPC campaign and NPC 2.0 is really helpful so far.

The way they teach that method and other stuff they teach is so cool! Maybe not good for advanced marketer but for a newbie like me. They Rule!

But still, understand the logic of Google Keyword Tool is really tough sometimes.

Anybody using other free keyword tools to finds the good keywords for their campaign?

***Awesome, I just found out how to put links in my signature!***
