Direction for the beginner

Are there any good courses out there on earning money from Adsense ...good ones that work. I understand that a course is not going to make one successful but if it's not a good course and if it's sending one in the wrong direction they will never succeed. I am looking for something that is known to be a good course that puts one on a path to success, if you follow it of course.
I have researched courses by John Robinson and Joel Peterson. Johns information looked promising but it's no long sold. Joel's information seems to be little more than an ebook sold by a information broker on CB.
Anybody followed any courses that lead them to success?
