Repeated paragraph in the same webpage

Hi,
I have several bogs, and I have created on each of them a page where I link to all them! To avoid duplicate content I have written a paragraph at the top of each page, and I have repeated this paragraph at the bottom. Each page has its unique paragrapgh repeated twice!
The fact to repeat the paragraph twice on the same page can penalize my pages or sites?

    This doesn't make sense. What's the reason for the repeated paragraph?
    Why not just ....Not do that?

    There is no reason to repeat the paragraph, unless it is a TOS that needs
    to be posted in more than one place, or similar.

    If it's not content related, it should be at the bottom. Google looks for
    more clues at the top of a page. You don't want to muddle things.

    If it is "content" related, it may look silly to a visitor, and depending on
    the stuffing of keywords, may be looked upon as such. Google
    has non human algorithms. Be very careful with the top of your
    pages. I program for adsense, so I actually have the same line
    at the top of each page on a lot of sites. This line is geared for
    the adsensebot, but slides into the shadows.

        That is not how you avoid duplicate content between your pages.

        The way to avoid duplicate content between your pages is by not having duplicate content between your pages.
        It is not by repeating your paragraphs to make sure Google's crawlers know FOR SURE that this content is only on this page.

    The fact that you had to ask, means it probably isn't a good idea. With that said, nobody knows for sure. If the paragraphs are 20 words, it probably won't be a problem. If I were you though, I would change the one of the paragraphs on each page. Rewrite the paragraphs. Its probably taking you longer waiting for a helpful reply than it would have taken just to rewrite the paragraphs. Regardless, good luck with your site.

    it could be more better if you add your paragraph into first post, so you will also get some new ideas.

    Hey i have an idea, On the start of the page post texts and take the screenshot of paragraph then at the bottom put the image of the same paragraph. hows that idea?
