Some findings after the Google update massacre

Hi guys.

I have around 20 websites in 4 different niches, some of them 5 years old. All of them are using adsense for monetizing.

Things were starting to get bad from February but got really bad after 25 of last month.

Here are some findings from all my websites.

1. Most of them were having the main keyword(s) in the domain name. And they were ranking in the top 5 without much work. This is TOTALLY LOST. Gone. Bye-bye.

2. While main pages have been pushed from Page 1 to page 40-50+, i found some internal pages to RANK GREAT. ALL of them have some OUTGOING links to High PR and Authority websites.

3. Some old and somehow neglected (still high quality) websites have gained traffic for no reason at all. I mean nothing has been added to them for months.

4. In my niches, searching for my keywords, i get really strange results. In the first 1-3 places i see authority websites, Wikipedia and huge and big companies websites. After the top 2-3 places, i see all kind of IRELLEVENT websites or junk ones. Was nothing like that 2-3 months ago.

For now i do nothing. I just pause for a while.
