Is it worth it to buy backlinking on fiverr?

You get what you pay for....I highly doubt the back linking you will get from fiverr will be up to par with googles recent updates...

Yes and I didn't find it worthwhile. I've found the best backlinks come from simply focussing on providing quality content to my readers. The best people find you.

Purchased 3 backlink packages from Fiverr and each one did exactly what I wanted it to. So yes it was worth it. You have to have a solid understanding of SEO though and know exactly what you need and what to stay away from.

If you don't know if a certain backlink package will help you or not, it probably won't.

with the penguin updates, and google frowning on this thing, its probably as good as going outside and putting your male appendages in a vice. So at this stage I would advise against it. :-)

I think it's not worth now after penguin era. always build your links in natural way. maybe today google is not slap your site now but tomorrow it can happen anytime.

I tried a couple of them on sites that really didn't matter much to me and you know what? I lost them for spam like activity. I'm glad it wasn't for my moneymakers or I would have flipped a gasket. RUN as fast as you can.

Seriously do not buy backlinks from anywhere -especially not Fiverr. The other thing is that people are now buying Tweets and Share there and finding that Google is pinging them big time for fake over social profiles.

Don't buy anything for SEO purposes except for analysis tools and maybe a good community like SEO Moz.

Most of the WF (WSO section) suggest people to buy backlinks off fiverr.. heck some are even charging money to reveal a list of selected fiverr providers (and those guys have like 500+ orders in que at any given time).

You get what you pay for. A $5 link could destroy your entire site. Is it really worth that to you?

I haven't purchased backlinks from Fiverr that being said I have contemplated it, but I wouldn't buy them for my main website but rather something like - my google places listing, my facebook business page, my videos on youtube and so on. Nothing that directly links you.

Yes, it is worth if you buy it from a reputed seller of atleast 500+ positive feedback..

I've had great success in the past with both fiverr and seoclerks but I've not touched it since the penguin update. Waiting for things to calm down a bit before looking at it again. The sites I've used fiverr on have actually seen an increase in ranking since the update, but focusing more on natural listings at the moment.

My guess is that penguin friendly gigs will come up but I'll be doing a lot of research before committing to anything.

For me it would be risky to buy backlinks.

We can't say Fiverr is not work or work. Fiverr is a platform who gives opportunity to find a freelancer, communicate with him, then order & express our views in the comments. It is not fault of Fiverr, it is our fault to become crazy for quantity of backlinks, forget or overlook the quality.
What I am doing to find a good freelancer-
-First I shortlist 10 or more freelancers, may be high rating or no rating, it doesn't matter, a good freelancer may be new at fiverr, so how he can get rating?
-Then I start communication with them, and ask for some less and high quality work, may be in 2 gigs or more, when we concern for quality and prepared to pay according to work every freelancer like to work happily.
-Some time I reward them with extra 1 gig, some time they reward me with additional work as a good client.
Freelancers are the same, may be at Fiverr, at WF or any other freelancers forum/websites. Due to competition they are doing low quality, mass backlinking work of Xrumer, Scrapebox, Edu, SenukeX etc. It is depends upon us how to get good work from them.
It is my request to all please don't blame Fiverr.

The recent Google update frowns on automated backlinking and that is what most of the fiverr gigs do. I mean, come on, they offer 1000s of backlinks and they charge $5 for it. Do you really think they do manual backlinking? They probably blast thousands of link to your site from automated tools like bookmarking demon or Xrumer.

So, try doing manual backlinking, or you can't do it, hire someone to do the same. I also read a thread that talked about syndicating the article on your site to some 15-20 Web 2.0 properties. This sounds like a good idea.

Well, I did buy a couple of backlink gigs there, precisely automated linkwheels + blog comments to them. The results were good for just 5 bucks. I must also say that in my case Penguin is still blind to my sites, hehe

The best bet for Fiverr is to add it your blocked URL list and never think about it again

I bought three backlinking gigs on fiverr. One of them gave instant boost on my blog and has been giving me decent traffic since then.

I have used fiverr extensively for many different types of "gigs" some were better than others, a few years ago I purchased an SEO package that was a WSO here, the website got slapped, hard, in an update, I believe that the evidence is now clear, Google intends to weight the quality of backlinks, this is to protect its paying clients.

Google is a business plain and simple its clients are large multinational corporations that often pay more in a month to google than the average person makse in a lifetime.

This leaves most of us with the choice to either play by the rules and provide unique value to consumers or go black, the problem with going black is that they have rooms full of people looking for tricks people are using to game the system.

While most of the time your alone in what your doing, this is why it is an eventual and foregone conclusion that every trick will end in failure every short cut will result in getting lost, and every method to get your website to the top of the search engine results will fail until you learn to become unique, that is the key to success.

It is if you know what you are doing and choose carefully.

Absolutely they work! Just vary the type you order and send them to different pages/posts on your blog. After the first batch of links come back ping those.

They have always worked for me. Perhaps depends on the type of links you bought. Again, a variety of links is best.

Fiverr is a great place to outsource SEO, it's cheap and 'some' buyers really give it their all, of course a package of 10000 to 50000 blog comments is now like throwing money in the Loch - into the Monsters belly!

if you buy backlink at fiverr you must know first what game google want..., if you know what are you doing it's fine.

depend on your niche. some niche ranked pretty good after they bought backlink

i personally think that a couple of manual profile links are better than xxx amounts of spam links. they work just as good or even better, I ranked niches to page 1 with x xxx xxx results.

Its a waste of your time and money, I am sure there may be a few that are decent services, but for the most part, this "shotgun" approach, is not the right way to build up a real and lasting SEO venture.

Depends on how you want to use them. I buy Fiverr backlinks all the time for building my 2nd tier backlinks. I build some high quality links for my main site and then build some thousands 2nd tier backlinks to my backlinks. Works well for low and meduim competition keywords.

I never advise you to use them directly on your money site. It can put you into trouble if not done properly.
