I want my youtube vids to be rated high. Whats the monthly search volume to target

Obviously each vid would have to target or be optomized for low volume kws
Question is if you want to be rated really high what volume per month?
I think maybe 1000 searches /month?

course I can check with Market Samurai the competition but I think it will be low competition
whats your experience targeting kws on youtube vids getting them ranked high? Then I guess I can backlink etc but I will have so many vids its hard to backlink them that much. Ideally I want them to rank based on the fact there really isnt much competition
