Hi, IMers.

Following the last round of G's updates, Do you know if Traffic Kaboom is still effective to increase your organic search ranking?

My lasts tests indicate a lower (domain) ranking than usual for published articles. Not sure if still worth it to keep paying for this service. Thanks.

Yeah, the latest Penguin update is a pain. I feel that very soon will be able to only get rankings with superb content and white hat backlinks. Google is thirsty for war.

P.S. Now, this is the risky time for automated software to build backlinks on demand. If you use them, I would absolutely advise not to send the backlinks directly to the money site, even if they are only under 100.

Google is really sneaky, as they have shown with the Penguin stuff.

From all the forums I've read traffic kaboom has not been hit by Penguin. There are a few blog networks that haven't been hit but it doesn't mean that they will be safe going forward though.

I can vouch that TK works quite well. As article submissions are cut back, you just need to submit a few articles together. TK is not for those just wanting to get a lot of back links all in one go, so you'll need to accompany it with other methods, especially if you want to get to page #1 fast.

Well, I'm not sure if others out there are like me, but to give an update... for me article/blog networks just don't seem to be working like they use to. Even compared to 3-4 months ago.

It feels like Google is giving less and less credit to them. It could also be the dilution of TK articles needed to publish now 4 keywords are interchanged with articles and the reduction of articles that can be published to the network for one submission. So four times the amount of articles need to be published to get the same boost on keywords.

However, I am personally finding the effectiveness is definitely not what it was in the past.

Its not about TK, but so called 'public' private networks are risky. But there are safer methods to use these networks now. Use them on tier 2 ..

Yeah, only TK only wants to publish legitimate site links -- not powering up tier 1s.

If you want to power up your site with some articles, then I can recommend TK. But really all I'm saying (in response to the topic of this thread) is don't expect it to have the same effectiveness it once had.

That said, for quality blog article submissions, TK is great because of its strong quality control which can likewise be frustrating. It's just a matter of how you fit it into your own SEO methods and having correct expections.
