backlink from squidoo lens?

Hi i want to know backlink from the pr4/5 squidoo lens is also counts as authority backlink and have much linkjuice than any other pr4/5 article backlink?

    the backlinks from squidoo lens are not count as a authority backlinks, but it gives the linkjuice to your site

    Just focus on building links for traffic and not seo, so if these squidoo lens gives you traffic that's all that you need...

      I can't agree with you... Well, if you need traffic you can submit your website to Social Media sites like Digg, Twitter, Stumbleupon, etc... But authority links are REQUIRED in order to make a very good SEO for your website!

        You didn't get my point, the thing is that we should not build links just for the sake of a backlink and we should not rely too much on Google traffic. Actually if we don't care about Google and build links for traffic and to build our reputation online, we will get at the same time more traffic from Google. Of course we need quality backlinks but we don't get quality backlinks if we focus on building backlinks unless we have a budget of thousands of dollars for Link Building. Now if we focus on methods like guest posting, blog commenting on relevant popular blogs (not spamming comments) and video marketing we get traffic, build our reputation and quality backlinks so without caring about Google, Google cares more about us (now that I think about it, it's like our personal relationships )

          I couldn't agree more..

          I think too many marketers focus on building links and lose site of actually providing any value to the reader. They think of only there pockets, this is short sighted as if you can provide quality you will become an authority in your niche.

          When this happens your site goes viral and you will get all the viral backlinks you're gonna need..

    I think backlinks from squidoo lens will not count as authority backlinks. DoFollow backlinks always provide link juice.

    If your Squidoo lens has the nofollow/noindex tag as the majority of them, it doesn't help you that much.

    Used to be better for backlinking before, now best is move on other SEO methods.

      Why would it have a nofollow/noindex tag on them? I heard that Squidoo gives you a dofollow link unlike with Hubpages where your hub has to reach a minimum score for the backlink to become dofollow.
