Anyone Else Experience this Penguin Problem?

Some of my sites were hit by Penguin and others were not. Was looking for a pattern why since I have done almost zero off page SEO apart from article marketing (not mass submissions) and some bookmarking.

After reading some about how they were penalizing or ignoring links that were with too many keywords in the anchor text, it occurred to me that all of the sites that lost traffic with this update were those in which I had keywords in the domain name that I was targeting.

Did anyone else notice this with their sites? I am wondering if this was chance or if that was likely the reason.

That simply is not true with this update. I never paid much attention to Google updates in the past since I was trying to write for people and did only white hat stuff. They did not seem to affect me.

This time, sites that were playing by the rules got hit. Seems that at least some of the white hat rules have changed. Would like to know exactly what...

Still I do not have any problem. I think as long you will be honest and do not do any thing which is forbidden by Google.

It could have been more of the onpage factors that affected you. Just remember that Penguin wasn't all offpage, there were many onpage factors that went into this algorithm change as well.
