Micro Niche or Authority

Hi guys,

After the 24th April update do micro niche websites still count for something as far as Adsense revenue come into play or is it all leading towards Authority websites

    The problem with micro-niches is that they are so laser targetted it's easy to go over the threshold of overoptimization.

    How many natural links would realistically go to bluechocolateswithnuts.com, for example. How much content can be created for such a site without starting to sound repetitive and over-optimized.

    It's more likely that a site like nutchocolates.com, for example, would attract natural links and be seen as an authority for all things to do with "chocolates that contain nuts.
