Our sites have lost their rankings across the board in google.

Whats the word on what the update was all about?

We have never used anything blackhat. The sites all have original, unique content. User interaction is pretty high.

Any insights?

Thanks

There are a number of on-page factors that could be the cause. The latest update discounted a large wave of back links so there's a possibility you were just caught in the current. But other than the fact that you use original content and no black hat methods, we don't know much about your site. What types of links were you building? Do you use any tools to measure your on page SEO? If so, what are they saying. How many back links do you have?

I agree with all of the above. Troubleshooting this issue can seem like a pain but it will be the only way to find out what really is the problem. I also agree that fluctuations in rank happen from time to time.
