SEO Question. Banned By Google?

Hi Everyone,

I have a question. I run a membership site where users can create niche websites. The site is Instant___Niche___Maker__.com (Remove the underlines). Each person's site is hosted as a subdomain at Top__Site___Now__.com

Everything was just going great. Yesterday doing site:Top.... returned over 2000 pages indexed. Today ZERO.

Members had many pages indexed yesterday, today ZERO.

I have no idea what's going on?

Can someone explain?

Thanks,

..Mike

you got de indexed, you or one of your sub domain sites broke one or many of Googles TOS.

I would guess most sites were made for Adsense and that would be the reason, also that many adsense publishers under one domain may raise an eyebrow at google as well.

Unless you can figure out what you did wrng and fix it you will never get traffic from Google again.

I would watch for some accounts getting banned as a possibility.

    Hi captivereef,

    Thanks for the input.

But isn't what I'm doing the same as Wordpress, Blogger, etc...??

If someone on a Blogger account breaks a rule, wouldn't Google just shut down the bad sub-domain and not the entire site?

Could it be that the entire domain is sandboxxed?

Don't worry about it. Is your website new? I had the same thing happen to my website and it was in a better rank position the day after. Just make sure you keep building back links, I am sure you're website will appear. Give it another 48 hours.

New site should post 1-3 times at the first week, and not more than 5 post a day in the second week, and 3rd week you can post more... I don't know how many, but a lot more.

Posting too many pages will get your site banned for some time, until they figure out what you are doing...spamming or just a huge site.

    Is this a WPMU site?

Google has been mass banning them recently due to their heavy use by spammers. If your site is legit, request reinclusion and you should eventually get the site reindexed. Make sure that you describe that your site is membership based and moderated to prevent abuse and offenders are banned as soon as possible. It may take a while but as long as you're on the up and up you should get back in.

Yes, this is a WPMU membership site.

How do I contact Google over this?

I will subscribe to this post and see whether you eventually win back your site index by Google. Because I am going to set up a membership adsense site as well. Thank you, Mike, to bring this topic out.

Mike, Did you resolve your problem with Google?

I was looking for a program similar to instant nicher maker but instead of google adsense/cpa sites i wanted to build sites for local businesses.

Having read what happened to your site I think I'd better pause and do more research.

    Hey Everyone,

Thanks to bgmacaw I knew where to go

Well I just posted a message to Google about the site and asked for reconsideration.

In Webmaster tools their is actually a link labeled "Request reconsideration". (Sorry can't include link cuz I'm still a Noob)

Each new site that a member creates becomes a subdomain of the main site. My guess is that having many hundreds of sites appear so quickly set off some SPAM alarm at Google.

The front end that describes the service is VERY professional and describes the service. I referred to that in the letter I wrote.

    After posting, Google replies:
"Thank you for your reconsideration request. Your site will be evaluated to determine if it meets our webmaster guidelines. This process can take some time."

Guess I just sit back and wait.

I'll post again when I hear any response.

    ..Mikee
