    Hi Nate,

There really isn't one set of negative keywords that apply to all PPC campaigns. You need to share the type of offer that you are promoting to get solid suggestions.

Some common negative keywords include words like free, review, guide, cheap, etc. However, if your offer is a for a free guide or the lowest priced product, even these would not be appropriate. The process of negative keyword selection is always relevant to the context and content of your offer.

Personally I use negative keywords if I find someone getting to an ad through an inappropriate search phrase. For instance, if I was selling light bulbs and someone had clicked on my add from the search phrase "cigarette lighters convention" I would probably add cigarette as a negative keyword.

Also, in my experience, the exact list would depend on a particular product. It could be words like "free", "crack", "torrent", etc.

negative keywords are some keywords that can not use them with your orginally keywords, f.ex. if your keyword is dog training then dog color is negative keyword for that keyword.

If you're using exact match, then you won't need negative keywords. With phrase match or broad match, add in negative keywords that are relevant to your offer. Commonly used ones could be what freeloaders search for such as pdf, zip, rar, while free is relevant only if your offer is a paid one.

Other negative keywords depend on what your offer and keywords are NOT. Eg. If your keywords are specific to tennis only, then exclude all other common racquet games like badminton and squash.
