Hi,

I am working on a few eBooks in different niches. I no expert at PPC, so my question is, is it possible to use ppc to sell eBooks. I understand the offer would have to convert with great copy etc. But is it possible or more to the point profitable?

I am planning on sending the traffic to the sales page and not a squeeze page. I'll use a pop up to gather leads.

Thanks for any advice anyone may have..

Jeremy

PPC is good and It can bring you sales but all depends on topic of your ebook and right place for marketing. On which topic your ebooks are?

Hi Mate, thanks for your reply.

The topics vary from IM to self help.

The niches are different, if the first makes sales using ppc I will release the next one and so on.

      Cheers

In a nutshell: yes. I sell a ton of e-books using PPC / PPV / banners ads / etc. However, don't make the same mistake that I did and just sell ONE e-book. Make sure you have a product mix of at least 10 (more is far better).

For example, let's say that your primary focus is to build an opt-in buyer's list (this is just one example). So you offer a 20 - 40 page report for under $10. Then you start sending them useful e-mails via an autoresponder like iContact, Aweber, etc.

You then sell them an e-book in the $27 - 47 range. If you go higher than $47 don't call it an e-book. Call it something else (training course, etc.).

After the ebook you sent them affiliate offers and/or links to more reports or products that you have.

A lot of people fail selling ebooks via PPC because they don't spend the time to:

    1. Have a product mix
    2. Don't build a list
    3. Don't know their metrics.

So be prepared to LOSE some money in the beginning before you get to the point where you're profitable.

You can use PPC to drive traffic to your sales pages (that may convert to sales), yes, bu you need a good conversion page for that...Also work SEO at the same time so you can get some free traffic as well.
