Dear experts,

I have creating backlinks for my website. I have a main website for my business and I have a seperate section for blog. So i have 1 top-level domain and one sub-domain for blog. Now i am creating backlinks for both but sometime i feel a bit confused. I am creating backlinks for both but i want to get advise from experts, should i create backlinks for top-level domain or sub domain (blog). or should continue to create for both? any advise please?

You want to create backlinks to your website with your anchor text you wish to rank for.

For example i assume your web site is about design.

So you want to create backlinks with your anchor text ie : web design, design work, company web design etc...

Ranking your money site is more important, but you might want to rank your blog so you can communicate and build relationships before enticing them to order work.

Thank you for your advise. Its seems valueable. I am also commenting on blogs and posts there available options are Name, Email, Website and comment. In this scenario, how can i add the keywords in comments?

Usually on blog comments, you put your name as the keyword and put your link in the website.

A lot of blog owners don't like you leaving a link in the comments section. Specially if it's a high traffic blog.

Also don't forget to read the blog post your about to comment on and make a valuable comment about the blog post, rather then a "hey, good blog - link-" they don't accept these sort of comments now a days.
