Be Excited About SEO and Else

Hey,

I have been hearing a lot of whining lately on Warrior Forum and a lot of that is true. Google has done some changes that don't make sense to a lot of people at least for now. but SO WHAT? For you to know, I was one of the so-called victims too. One of the websites I had was an authority website that got penalized while it was better than all of the competitors quality-wise but that's not my point. SO WHAT?
I thought to write this to everyone specially newbies. You can't win in something you are not excited about. You can't continue being negative about SEO and want to do SEO. It just doesn't work that way. You have to either quit or be excited about it. You should feel excited that you uncover the new secrets and rank your websites despite the changes. You should be excited about your successes and forget about failures. Those are just a part of the game, And that's not SEO only. That's the spirit you need to have for success in any other IM or any other entrepreneurial venture in life. Stop playing Google's victim role. That will not help you. Have you lost a few websites that took a lot of effort? Forget about them and move on. Don't repeat the same mistakes. Be smarter. That's the fun of it. Don't take the fun out of SEO. You can't win with whining. Be excited and have fun!
BTW, I do understand that for many of you the money coming from SEO may be your life money. I have been there and I do understand it. The point is you have limited chances of being a winner by being a whiner and by sticking to a loser attitude!

So true. I'm not sure if its the people on WF only or on the other IM forums. Most of the people just complain and whine about Google when their site rankings drop. I don't know about you guys but I already knew what I was getting into when I got into the IM game. Be mentally prepared for changes. Don't expect the same things that work in 2012 to work in 2013.

It doesn't work that way. IM is all about the change. Its either you are willing to adapt or if you prefer not to then go find a job in McD where everything stays the same.

No doubt you have to be really accepting to Google's moods if I may say so - the unpredictability is rising with every update and as SEO'ers we need to understand that our sites are not fool proof each and every time.

Who are you to tell people they need to quit SEO or be excited about it? Most people aren't excited about their jobs, its a fact of life. People are angry because Google changed the rules overnight and left many people who were doing WH SEO on their site hit for 6 and put loads of crappy sites to the top where the owners didn't even care about SEO so the content is mostly either outdated or poor quality.

You say you can't win with whining, well people can complain about Google which you call "whining" but still take action going forward to try to rectify their sites position.

You are right. Many people aren't excited about their jobs and most of them don't do anything to change it EVER. They blame other people for all their life and stay angry at their boss, etc but never accept responsibility for their life and never take action to change something. That's the attitude I am talking about.
If you had read my post which I doubt you did, you could see that I had an authority website that got penalized too. If you are an SEO expert (which I assume you are), you should know what that means in-terms of efforts it had taken before and the loss opportunity, money, etc after. So, you should know what I think about Google's action. That being said, sitting and whining and staying angry doesn't solve anything. That's a full-time job of losers or at least people that are temporarily stuck in a loser attitude instead of trying to figure out solutions. I have seen that a lot lately all over Warrior Forum.
